Hello acadia1900,

The user manual for the Moto Razr V3 is at:

"V3 GSM Motomanual"
Motorola
http://direct.motorola.com/manuals/v3_manual9491A47O.pdf

Pages 68-69 of the manual (which correspond to pages 70-71 of the PDF file) state:

"Calling With 1-Touch Dial

To call phonebook entries 1 through 9, press and hold the single-digit
speed dial number for one second.

You can set 1-touch dial to call the entries in your phone memory
phonebook or the SIM card phonebook:

Find the Feature M> Settings > Initial Setup
> 1-Touch Dial

   Press To
1 S scroll to the location you want
2 SELECT (+) select the location"

Page 8 (page 10 of the PDF file) indicates that the symbols
(represented by "M>", "S", and "SELECT (+)") mean the menu key, 4-way
navigation key, and SELECT.

Page 51 (pages 53 of the PDF file) explains how to store phone numbers
in the phonebook -- which you can then call with 1-touch dial.

I believe that this information answers your question. Please let me
know if you need clarification of this answer.
