Can anyone find me a copy of a Valentine's Day joke that was on the
Internet a few years ago? It was either a .ppt or a .pdf, and the
idea was that a consultant (BCG, McKinsey, Bain - type) had put
together a slide show evaluating his relationship with his girlfriend.
The slides were hilarious -- completely analytical and detached -- a
perfect send-up for the consulting approach.

Hello mistercasey-ga,

I think I?ve found the joke you?re looking for. It?s not in PPT or PDF
format but the language is appropriate to what you?re looking for and
some versions of it include illustrations. I?ve found many different
copies of it so it seems it definitely made the rounds just as you
recall. Please check these links and let me know if I?ve got your
answer.

Girlfriend Report OR Consumer's Guide to Girlfriends

Well it's been 29 years since Consumer's Reports reviewed girlfriends
(CR, Aug 1972). Since then, styles have changed, new features have
been introduced, and the market for girlfriends has changed
substantially. So we here at CU decided another report was needed.

Thanks for looking, but the joke you've found isn't the one I'm
looking for. The one I'm looking for is structured like a PowerPoint
presentation. Probably 15 slides or so. Each with some type of chart
or graph being the focal point of the slide. There isn't all that
much text on the slides.

That's a funny presentation, but it's not the one I'm looking for.
The one I'm looking for is almost all charts with very little text,
and it's in file form. Thanks again for looking.

I was wondering if you are referring to the guy who broke up with his
girlfriend via a Powerpoint presentation. I think the girl's name
was Laura. All links that I clicked lead to nowhere.
