I need to know which college class I should take first. Should I take College Algebra? Or should I take Elementary Statistics? I am new to college classes and want to take what is generally the easisest to excel in. |

It depends on your major and the college's graduation requirements. "Elementary statistics" should not be as demanding as "college algebra". But statistics does become more demanding as it explores more complex useage. If your major or college requirements lead to calculus, algebra is a common starting point. The natural sciences, computer science, economics or business will require greater facility with algebraic equations that the social sciences or humanities will. Be sure to ask your college advisor which class is most useful for you. |
