Dr. Carver was buried January 8, 1943 in the cemetery of the Tuskegee
Institute where he was a member of the faculty.

According to an article in the Washington Post, only "simple funeral
services" were held, which leads me to believe that only a small
number of people were in attendance.

The Rev. Harry V. Richardson, the chaplain at Tuskegee, read the
funeral service.  Rev. Charles W. Kelly read messages from a number of
prominent people, including President Roosevelt, commending Dr.
Carter's life and works.

Beyond that, I have not see an actual list of attendees at the funeral.

Please verify if Thomas Edison and Henry Ford either attended George
Washington Carver's funeral, or if they sent messages to be read at
the funeral. If possible could I find out what they said? Thank you

Thomas Edison died in 1931, more than a decade before Carver passed away.  

Henry Ford was still alive in 1943 but I saw no record that he
attended or sent a message to Dr Carver's funeral.
