Can you narrow down what you mean by "broad band" and
"graphic spectrum display"?

"broad band" == capable of receiving a significant portion of the
short wave frequencies; certainly up to 30 megaHertz, and hopefully up
to 2 gigaHertz.

"spectrum display" == graphic, real-time display of frequency vs.
signal strength, i.e. where the x axis shows the frequency, while the
y axis shows the signal strength.  The idea is to identify active
channels [frequencies] without tuning each individual frequency.  To
be useful, it must be possible to vary the width of the band of
frequencies displayed on the x axis.

I'm looking for independent reviews of such receivers, and ideally,
reviews that compare several receivers.
