1. Is it correct to assume that the general behavior of shares on the stock
market presents a non random behavior. What about currency?
2. What are the main statistical indicators (if any) to such non random
behavior of shares, or alternatively to their random behavior?
3. Does the answer to questions 1 or 2 depend on time scale of
observation (i.e. momentary movement,hourly movement ,daily,weekly,
monthly etc)? If so how? I am particularly interested to know if there
are some non trivial statistical indicators, at what time scales any
behavioral pattern trend or regularity are expected to appear?
4. Are there any models or methods of predicting the trends of stock
market share behavior? What are the principles/working assumptions of
such models, what is the degree of success if any. What I need here is
mostly the highlights and general ideas not the specifics.
5. Is it a verified fact or just a myth that certain people are
capable to forsee market trends in a statistically significant manner?
