I want to form LLC in Arkansas for an online journal service. I am a non-US resident. I am from Taiwan. I just graduated from a University with a bachelors degree. My current visa is F1. I have an OPT that will allow me to legally work in the US for one year. I have a partner who is a US citizen. I will have major ownership for the company we form since I am the major investor. When I go back to my country, I can still control the company. I want to know if this is the best choice for our business based on my situation. I will stay longer for a masters degree if the business goes well. If I go back to school, my visa status does not allow me to work in US. What will be best solution for my situation? Will it work if I am a shareholder, but not an employee for our company? How much in fees are we looking at to form the LLC in Arkansas: such as annual fee, filing fee...etc . Thank you very much. |
