I have an old spreadsheet-word pecessor called AlphaWorks whose
company went out of busines 10 or more years ago, but it is so good
that I want to continue using it. It used to work perfectly with a dot
matrix printer, Pansonic KX-P1180
which recently got bad and I am Left only with the newer printer Epson
Stylus color 860. When attempting to print the computer lists
"Panp2092" as the default printer and prompts me to list the current
(Epson) printer. Could anybody find out what name should be
substituted for"panp2092" in order to make the Epson work?

Dear Vaac,

Try this, and if it works, tell me and I'll post it as an official answer:

(1) Click on the Start button in the left-hand side of your computer.
(2) Click on "Printers and Faxes" - you'll get a list of the printers
recognised by your computer.
(3) If the Epson is listed there, click with the left button of your
mouse on that printer. You will get a list, starting with the term
"Open". The second choice there is "Set as Default Printer". Choose it
and it would change the default printer to the Epson one.
