Generally those are referred to as "turn-key" operations. Meaning...
with little traning, it's possible to get up and running rather
quickly. The learning curve is rather minimal.

My advice is visit entrepreneur.com and identify those image companies
directly to ask specifics, as well as testimonials from satisfied
business owners that have purchased their turn-key operations. That
business model is based around high volume traffic.

With this type of business, it's less about being artistic and more
about learning how to use the the PC and their imaging application.
As far as the mechanics and operation of the actual camera for this
type of business your knowledge needn't be extensive.

I'm a freelance photographer that's involved on the artistic side.
