Bank Repos

Sacramento, CA. I would like to know if local banks have
lists/auctions/lots for reposessed power boats. Are these usually
sold/auctioned by third party agencies or do the banks hadle it?

Primarily, where do I look to find these listings? Do I call a local
branch and ask or do they ever post them online?

I was just talking to a friend on Friday, and he was telling me about
a place here in the Richmond, VA area about a place that
sells/auctions repo. boats. I couldn't remember the place, so I did a
little searching on google. I came up with the one he was telling me
about, along with a list of a bunch of others. Hope this helps. And
it's free.

Hi,
Search with "boat loans" sacremento and you will get lots of sites.
The Commercial Bank or others mentioning boat loans will probably know
where to look.

Ocala, FL. Not all but many banks and/or credit unions will in fact
have repo boats along with other vehicles that they are trying to
liquidate rather quickly. Timing is everything. I've had success
calling several local lending institutions then leaving them my
contact information and asking them to call me as soon as they repo
any inventory. Banks typically send their inventory to a local dealer
who will then mark up the "repo boat" for a tidy profit. They key is
to intercept the repo before the dealers.

A good listing resource for bank repo boats can be found at at: <A
