Hello - I am looking for a software package that will let me take an
existing computer and be able to "rent it out" and control its
features. So this computer will be in a common area (like a bar,
retail store or hotel lobby) and people can use a credit card to use
it for a period of time to check email or use the internet or print
something. I see these all the time and was wondering is there a
software package out there that will let me set one of these up? I am
pretty good with hardware, I just am not sure about the software side
of things.

Yes, these are very, very close. These look like they are designed for
a 'cyber cafe' where you would have someone behind a server
administrating several client machines in a controlled setting.

I am looking more for software designed for single workstations that
can be setup and left alone. Without someone having to be there. For
instance in a bar, or hotel lobby or other public area.

Do you know of any others? I must say these are some of the closest I
have seen yet.

Thanks for the suggestion!!
