Is there a resource which will give me the number of DWI arrests in
New York by County?  If so, where can I get that information?

Data like this is virtually impossible to find in its current form.
The stats for 2005 may not be released until 2007. Having said that,
how current is acceptible? For example, I managed to find data sorted
by county with a mixture of totals taken from the 1997-1998 period. Is
this sufficient?

I should also mention that what I have found is also broken down into
seperate totals of DWI's from these periods resulting from Alcohol and
those resulting from drugs.

As I mentioned there is no resource that will give you the current
statistics (as of today?s date) of the DWI?s in New York listed by
county.

Since my last request for clarification however I did manage to find
the latest data for DWI arrests in New York categorized ?by county?.
The latest data available in this case was current as of year?s end,
2004.
