I am wanting to set up a proposal using s mission impossible theme.
How is the question stated "your mission if you choose to accept
it..." and what would the clues look like. Each envelope at at the
location sent to from previous clue will have a question. When the
question is answered correctly she will get another clue. I want to
make it as much of "mission impossible" as I can. I am having a HARD
time finding anything online to help. Basically, I want to set up at
the beginng the mission impossble theme song w/ the correct message to
get her ready to begin the scavenger hunt. I also want on each
envelope, ( the question and the clue) Mission impossilbe type set up.
I hope this makes since and is easy to solve!

Assuming you will be creating your own recording (since we can't do
that for you) can you tell us what, precisely, you will need from us?

I am wanting help w/ setting up the theme song clue and what to put on
the envelopes and notes that contain the clues and quesitons! I am
assumming one would have to know or be familiar w/ the mission
impossible movies to help come up w/ that type of info. It has been a
long time since I have seen them. I just want it to be fun and w/
"mission impossible" theme.

Ok, here's a small company that specializes in interactive party games
and customized team building games. One of the things they offer is a
2-3 hour game called MISSION POSSIBLE, a scavenger hunt loosely based
on the movie Mission Impossible. They will create a game for you and
tailor it to your specific needs. They even do the "Mr. Phelps"
recording for you.

Does this suffice as an answer?

"The event begins with arrival of Jim Phelps who plays the obligatory
taped message for the audience. The group is then divided into Mission
Impossible task forces and presented with their top-secret directives.
They receive as well, any and all equipment required to complete their
"mission".

After a five-minute planning session they embark upon their missions.
Although the premise indicates a competitive event, the missions are
designed to be group supportive and the various task forces develop a
sense of interdependency early in the activity.

Upon the completion of the mission, they return to mission command
central where each task force presents their completed mission to the
group. This is followed by a summary talk by Jim Phelps who draws the
appropriate analogies from the mission achievements. The key message
is that teamwork ensures that they will never face a Mission
Impossible."

I have been to this web page in my search. Maybe what I am wanting to
do is not an option to make it "mission impossible" I was thinking
from the movie that he got his "Mission if he chooses to accept it"
But do not remember how it is stated and by who. I do not know or
remember if while on the mission he got "clues" and if so what they
were like. I am also afraid I am notmaking myself real clear on what
I am needing/wanting.

Also, the way I my head I have it set up if from the starting point,
clues (that I have put together) will lead her to the final
destination where I will be to ask for her hand in marriage! :-) The
whole thing should not last more than an hour from the start to last
point.

At the beginning of the Mission Impossible movies (and the made for
television episodes) Secret Agent Jim Phelps find himself with a
mysterious package. Sometimes it is delivered to him under a napkin by
someone posing as a stewardess or under a covered plate by someone
posing as a waiter. The possibilities here are limited only to your
imagination. Inside, ?Jim? always finds a mini tape player with a tape
already inside. He turns the tape on and it hears the voice of an
unknown contact that sets the stage for his next mission.

Occasionally there would be numbered photographs or maps inside the
package along with the tape player. Upon activating the tape, the
voice usually began with ?Hello Jim? or ?Good morning Jim?. Sometimes
the agent would begin viewing the assorted photos or maps while the
man on the tape would start by saying something like, ??the person you
are looking at now is?? and go on to introduce the various players or
explain the accompanying documents.

In the end the voice would always sum up the mission by saying, ?Your
mission, Jim, should you choose to accept it is to?.? And then explain
the expectations of a successful mission. Lastly, the voice would
always close the tape by warning ?This tape will self-destruct in 5
seconds.? ? and it always did, by spontaneously melting amid a lot of
smoke and special effects.

Here you will see a synopsis of the tape scenes from 168 Mission
Impossible episodes:

THE MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE TAPE SCENES
http://www.mjq.net/mitapes.htm

These were the only ?clues? Agent Phelps got during the course of the
mission. Since the tape was destroyed at the beginning of each show
and Phelps presumably committed all the other information to memory.
Because you are under no obligation to hold fast to the Mission
Impossible script, you can, of course, do whatever you wish. I
recommend you provide abundant clues and photos in various envelopes
in your introductory tape package and let your player rely on them
throughout the game.

Does this suffice as an answer?
