I need to know if Scott McNealy, CEO of Sun Microsystems has ever
called the open source (Linux) movement - the open sores movement.

That quoted term is given to Bob Metcalfe, who coined it in an article
June 21, 1999, suggesting that Linux will never win over Win2k. Scott
McNealy may have said it, but it doesn't look like he said it in
print. Though it sounds like something he might say, or repeat often.

With this article in the USA Today Money Section, it looks like things
are a bit different from the time of the Bob Metcalfe 1999 opinion.
