Does anyone know if you can create folders in iTunes in which you can
place a number of playlists as I have a large number of playlists.

Hello newo7-ga,

While I'm sure it's not the answer you were hoping for, the answer is
no. As of right now, you can only create playlists and not organize
them into folders. To see the features the playlists do have, please
go here: http://www.apple.com/itunes/playlists.html

Also, you're not the only one who would like this feature, maybe you
should contact iTunes and tell them about it, maybe it will be in the
next version? However, read their unsolicited idea submission policy
