I have gathered some material that should help you to stay up-to-date
on cast changes and other news of theatrical presentations in London.

The London Theatre Guide website contains a wealth of useful
information which is updated frequently:

London Theatre Guide: Latest News
http://www.londontheatre.co.uk/londontheatre/news/index.htm

The same site offers two subscription services: an email newletter and
an email "live update." The live update sends you theatre news
immediately, as soon as the news item is received by the editors; the
newsletter compiles all the London theatre news from each week into a
single email, which arrives each Sunday. A free six-week trial is
offered.

More info on the newsletter and the update may be found here:

As mentioned by my friend and colleague Kriswrite in a comment below,
Playbill is a good source of current information about theatre
worldwide. The online version of Playbill maintains a page of
International news which frequently mentions cast changes in London
productions:

Playbill: News: International
http://www.playbill.com/news/section/2.html

As samples, here are two articles concerning West End cast changes
that appeared in the past in the International News section of
Playbill. As you can see, quite a lot of detail is provided, and the
announcement is made well in advance of the change:

Playbill: West End Les Misérables Announces Cast Changes
http://www.playbill.com/news/article/80646.html

Playbill: West End Chicago Announces Cast Changes
http://www.playbill.com/news/article/82181.html

My Google search strategy:

Google Web Search: london OR "west end" theatre OR shows news OR newsletter
://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=london+OR+%22west+end%22+theatre+OR+shows+news+OR+newsletter

I hope this helps! Happy theatre-going!

www.playbill.com is an excellent source for all cast changes and
