I would like to acquire historical data on
mergers and acquisitions for publicly traded
US companies.

Ideally, this data would include
- the stock symbols for the companies involved
- the date that the deal was announced
- the date that the deal was approved or
  rejected by the SEC
- the date that the deal was consummated or
  abandoned by the companies
- the daily price data for the companies in
question, from shortly before the deal was
announced until it was consummated or
  abandoned

I would like to acquire several to many years
worth of such data.

I would like to spend $100 or less to acquire
this data. If the data were almost exactly
what I'm looking for then I might be willing
to spend a small multiple of this.

Please provide me with links or contact
information where I can acquire such data.

Thanks very much!
