I am looking for the company names, addresses and contact numbers for
organic, kosher copackers in the Los Angeles, CA area to manufacture
our food products. Also, what is the market, natiowide for the
organic vegan ethnic (soul/comfort) food. Who are our consumers? We
have a successful chain of vegan soul food restaurants and want to get
these products into the market.

With respect to your first question ...

I have limited time to answer, but your product caught my eye as a
consumer, so I'm posting a couple of comments.

A short note to certification agencies might provide an accurate and
efficient answer. (There is a list of them at
http://www.kashrut.com/agencies/ .) Check out the national ones and
also scroll to the LA part of the list.

Note that there is a certifier in LA that might be perfect,
http://www.earthkosher.com/ if any of their vegan companies are a
match. I'd also suggest contacting Scroll-K (Colorado) and Star-K, as
I've seen them on some popular vegetarian items and they will be
knowledgeable of the industry (including vegan-useful designations
such as pareve packaged where dairy also is packaged and organic vs.
non-organic). Star-K lists its organic products
(http://www.star-k.com/directory/showcat.asp?src=industry&cat=Organic_Products,
but the LA-area ones, Uncle Lee's Tea and Access Business Group
supplements, don't seem to be good matches). Similarly, searching
K-of-K for California companies (the URL doesn't paste well, but don't
search for LA, it's too limiting) turns up a few that might be
matches.
