Hello.

Some individuals apparently ingest pectin as a way of attempting to
evade drug tests.

From the web page of Wienhoff Drug Testing Services:
"The rumors were continuous about how men were cheating: ... even
drinking ... pectin to pass the tests."
http://www.wienhoffdrug.com/casestudies.htm

From the web page of Absolute Drug Detection Services, Inc.:
"I've been told that the canning agent 'CERTO' (a liquid fruit pectin)
will quickly remove toxins from your system. Is this true?
None of the 'cleansing' agents, including the pectin, work."

search terms: pectin, "drug tests," "drug testing"

I hope this helps.
