I'm not certain of what you are asking for. If you tell us why you
need to know, it would be helpful. I found a web site that discusses
citied that are using this technology, even with cell phone
notification, but there is no national site. In fact, they are working
of standardizing reporting, but it's very early. My confusion is in
wondering if you just want a random city as an example (the city where
I live is the best example), or do you want to contact the company
that licenses and sells this capability?

Thanks for your request.
I'd like to know both a) which major metropolitan cities in the US and
Canada now offer this capacity on the web, AND b) I'd like to contact
the company which licenses this service.
Thanks for your help.

I'm considering offering an online commuter alert service.
1. Please find online sources of *real time* traffic and transit data
(e.g., http://www.fhwa.dot.gov/trafficinfo/)for major metropolitan
areas in the US and Canada.
2. Please list current online commuter alert services.
(e.g., www.metrocommute.com, www.traffic.com, www.beatthetraffic.com)
Please compare pricing, features, strengths, weaknesses.
Thanks.
