I need copies of two articles from the journal _Animal Behaviour_ from
1983-84. Anyone with access to a research library should be able to do
this easily. (The journal is available online only back to 1995.) The
two articles are:

LENDREM, D. W. 1983. Sleeping and vigilance in birds, I. Field
observations of the mallard (Anus platyrhynchos). Anim. Behav. 31:532-538.

______. 1984. Sleeping and vigilance in birds, II. An experimental
study of the barbary dove (Streptopelia risoria). Anim. Behav. 32:243-248.

Since I will be able to get this myself later in the week, what I'm
willing to pay for is quick results.

What I would like to get is a .pdf of the two articles.

Google Answers cannot post these article for you, as they are
protected by copyright, and cannot be publicly posted.

However, there are several research libraries and article delivery
services that can email copies of articles to you for a fee (above and
beyond any fees paid here at GA).  Fees start at $12 per article and
up.

Would information about such services meet your needs?

Clarification of Question by dabney2-ga on 24 May 2005 04:26 PDT

This is my first time using this service. I was hoping that there's a
way to receive what I want by email from a researcher with physical
access to a library. I'm at a university and can get the material in
48 hours through normal means and on Friday I can actually go to a
local library and get it myself.

If there's no way to use this to "broker" a private transaction I'll
just withdraw the question.
