Hello eduardomay-ga, There are a couple of things I can suggest you do. 1. Good Page Titles: "A match between the search phrase and the words in a page title is considered a very relevant match by the search engine and thus it ranks higher in search results than pages that only have those words in the page's text." 2. Smart Page Text: " By smart, I mean page text that not only reads well to the visitor, but also contains keyphrases that searchers might type. And remember that the higher on the page a phrase appears, the more relevance it is assumed to have." http://www.bbd.com/search_engines.htm ://www.google.com/search?num=100&hl=en&c2coff=1&safe=off&q=how+to+improve+search+rankings&spell=1 If this answer requires further explanation, please request clarification before rating it, and I'll be happy to look into this further. You have several options here. The way that may provide the best results is to hire a consultant whos area of expertise is search engine promotion. This expert will do several things such as tweak your page URLs, suggest keywords, etc. An easy tip at this point is to make sure the URL of your pages are named according to their content. For example, www.site.com/american-birds will rank higher than www.site.com/page1. Some people like to insert lots of meta-tags and keywords into their webcontent and code. However, while this might be of a little help, the most concrete way to rank higher is simply to offer better content. Also, be wary of engaging in "link-sharing" where you post someone elses website in exchange for them to advertise yours. This shows off unprofessionality. |

You have a whole lot of work to do. First start by doing some educational research about search engines. You will want to optomize your pages for keywords, in addition you will want to increase the number of quality links to your site. I like to start with topic specific directories and build from their. Vary the text used to link to your site when adding your listings to the directories. The following article will help you with keywords: http://www.small-business-software.net/determining-keywords.htm and the following directory will help you find topical directories that allow free listings: http://www.web-search-engines.net |
