Question ID: 524951
I am trying to find a US army friend of 40 years ago. He lives on a
boat at St. Thomas, Virgin Islands. Recently someone met him and later
called me, giving me John's email address, but it doesn't work - or
more likely, I miss copied it.
I thought it was "SUPEREGRINE" with @ and a well-known server name.
the first part might be the name of his boat, just a guess.

I would very much appreciate it if someone could contact John by
whatever means of discovery available and ask him to contact me,
telling him that my email address is in the form
"first name" at "last name" dot "de"
(first name, not nickname).
From the story, he will know who I am.

Of course, if a Researcher can post an answer that serves the same
purpose, all the better, whereby I will accept as an answer a posting
that you have contacted John when he has emailed to me your user name.

Of course, I will respond with many thanks to a commenter's successful effort.
Thank you for your help,
Myoarin

Myoarin,

This is just to let know that we're not ignoring you (I'm not,
anyway!). I just can't think of a way to help you out on this one.

Paf, I can't either really, but on the other hand, someone down in the
Carib might happen to know John, or know that if he is living full
time on a boat there are only a few places that could be, and I
understood that he is working ashore, i.e., not cruising, and ...
Thanks for your interest. (and those were really two great topics,
Coase and 2nd axial ...)
