I had a spreadsheet a while back that was lost. It took real stock data (Open high low close) and generated synthetic data derived from that. It was created using statistical sampling and random number generators. It crunched some numbers to come up with the new data. The purpose of it was to give you a lot more statistically sound data to test trading ideas on, if a limited set of data is available. What I want is the spreadsheet set up of this. I do not want a statistics lesson. I have found it on the net in theory but my statistics is a bit rusty to translate it to a spreadsheet. I can if I have to but I think a small fee would be a better use of my time. I am familiar with statistics and spreadsheet so specific instructions on how to set it up in excel would suffice. |
