I know of several systems that sell software for pharmacy, lab, etc.,
but they don't sell the source code. They install and help maintain
the software. Would that help?

No. I am looking to buy even just the data model on paper if
possible. I am not interested in companies that install and maintain
the system.

Please do not spend any time looking for solution providers or
developers. The whole objective is buy already harvested knowledge.
I want to do the development part.

You can find and hire developers to create this solution for you,
whether it be in code, or a data model at http://www.rentacoder.com.
All you need to do is create a Buyer account, and let 1000's of
professionals know what you need and the time you need it in. Bids can
be anywhere from $10 onwards - Ive used it quite effectively in the
past, and it really is the fastest way to get things done.
