In fact, there are no direct flights from New York to Riyadh. The
Saudi Airlines flights from both JFK & La Guardia both stop at Jeddah
en route to Riyadh. The elapsed journey time is 14hrs 40mins.

There are a number of connections via European airports (e.g. Paris,
Frankfurt) with other international airlines for which the journey
time is 14hrs 35mins.

If you use MOBISSIMO.COM they will come up with a number of options of flying
from any of the New York Airports to RIYADH. Among the airlines you
can use are Emirates and Swiss Air. However as NPROCTOR-GA points out
you will need to make at least one stop on the way.
