d'anthropologie de Paris.  Each issue has a volume number and a t.
number (?).  Is 4 the volume number of this periodical?

I found several articles written by him in the Bulletin de la Société
d'anthropologie de Paris in 1882 and 1884, but not 1883:
Nouvelle etude sur le sillon sous-frontal intra-limbique et sur la
fusion du lobe du corps calleux avec les lobes adjacents.
Le dolmen "de la justice" d'Epône (Seine-et-Oise). Mobilier funéraire
et ossements humains.
They are also in s. 4.
How sure are you of the date?

found.  I can't pinpoint the one I need with a title or subject, as I
am doing this for someone else.  Again, any information you can

One last request for clarification before I post the "answer."  Since
you already know the name of the author, periodical, approximate date,
and article title, there is not much else I can tell you besides the
exact date and the exact location of the titles within the
periodicals.  Are you sure you want this information?

Per your request, below are the relevant articles that Léonce Pierre
Manouvrier (1850-1927)  wrote for the Bulletin de la Société
d'anthropologie de Paris in Ser. 4 (1890-1899).  He has written many
other articles for the Bulletin and other periodicals (notably the
Ecole d'anthrop. de Paris' Revue) at the time (some are written in
1893).  If you're interested, please let me know and I shall list them
as well.

California system has copies of it from 1860 to the present.  As a UC
student, I can make requests for copies of it through inter-library

Search strategy:
I searched in several proprietary databases of anthropology articles
and looked at UC's periodical catalog.

Thank you very much for your patience, work, and for letting me know
about the other periodical with his work(s).  This helps a lot.

This publication is held by some major research libraries across the
country. If you can tell me the general region you reside in I can
give you the names of the institutions. You could then request it
through interlibrary loan from your local library. I doubt you'll find
it online.

If you want to request issues of the Bulletin de la Societe de
Anthropologie de Paris from your local library (or a university
library), the ISSN code is 0037-8984. (ISSNs are the international
standard for the exchange of bibliographic records about serial
publications. Sort of like ISBN codes for books.) The ISSN
International Centre has a search feature at www.issn.org, although
the form for the trial subscription doesn't seem to be working right
now.
