I'm going to a conference at the Fontainebleau Resort Oct. 21-25,
2005. Can you find some options for smaller hotels/inns/boutique
hotels within walking distance of the 46th Street Beach? I'd like an
average rate of less than $200 a night. I'd like a safe, clean place
to stay. No interest in night life particularly, nor in staying in a big
hotel. Although access to a bar is nice, and so is quiet. For what
it's worth, I'm a single female traveler and not looking for gay
nightlife or a gay-focused hotel, thanks. :->

(I have reservations right now at Hotel Shelley, but that's a distance
away from 46th Street Beach.)

Also I'd appreciate the name and address of a bakery somewhere in
Miami Beach where I can buy a bag of good croissants. Thanks so much!
