A+ is administered by CompTIA testing centers. You can check
www.comptia.com or www.pearsonvue.com for centers in your area. Lots
of times community colleges will hold them, its just not a publicized
thing like I think you're looking for. Call your local tech and
community college schools to see if they do by chance, but any
authorized, certified testing center should be listed on CompTIA.

As far as "reasonably priced" goes, you can purchase any CompTIA test
(A+, Net+, Office, Linux, the list goes on and on) in various
locations online at discounted rates, and occassionally CompTIA
themselves will reduce the prices on test vouchers online). Just
purchase, and take the printed voucher to your local testing center,
hand it to them, and voila, you're taking the test. Last I checked a
few weeks back A+ was going for around $89 for Hardware and OS
either/or.
