At American Express Financial Advisors, what is the success to fail
ratio for a new employee for the following stages of the highering
process?  For instance what is the percentage of new employees that
pass their licences for the sponsorship and move up to the internship?

1) Sponsorship (180 day window for licences)
2) 10 week internship (after licences are aquired)
3) 1st year of career (after 10 week internship)
4) 3rd year
5) 5th year
6) 10th year

This is not an answer to your question, which can still be posted by a
researcher.  It is only a personal comment that is well intended.

You have, no doubt accessed much information about American Express

What struck me immediately was this:

"REQUIREMENTS:
The job requires initiative, the ability to market to locate clients, ..."

I am sure that Am-Ex provides good training towards becoming a
Financial Advisor and also on how to market these services.  That
ability will determine your success.

I have greatest respect for people who can market products and
services; their success is what provides and ensures employment for
many others (like me).

Statistics about the success rate of others will not  - I think - 
tell you as much about your own chances to get ahead as your own
self-estimation and insight into your "ability to market to locate
clients.
