I watch the show. X-Play almost everyday. somewhere, within the last
couple months, they had made reference to finding a replacement
announcer as the original one mysteriously dissappeared. I want to
know...what happened to him? Did he quit, did he get fired? Did he
die? He was a real big part of that show for me.

There is no answer at this time.

Well, I found this news article:
<http://digg.com/gaming/Adam_Sessler_Leaves_X-Play_To_Create_New_Show.>
It says he left to create a new show, but some people have posted
below the news article saying that was an April Fools joke, but I'm at
school right now so I don't have time to check if thats right, but it
sure sounds like a joke.

"Adam Sessler Leaves X-Play To Create New Show. [+ 64 diggs]
Adam Sessler has been confirmed to of left X-Play to work on his new
show, "Meet the Sess." Kevin P has taken over the role of Adam Sessler
(for now, we hope.) We will miss your reviews, Adam."

Disembodied voice was a guy who worked for the show as a production
assistant. he got a better job as a producer for a rival video-game
tv production company.
