I have a very annoying problem with my computer.  Everytime I go to
click on anything it repeatedly clicks a few times.  I have no idea
what is causing this.  Do you have any suggestions?

Have you cleaned your mouse lately?

I had the same problem but its disappeared now that I got an optical mouse.

Maybe that is all it is.  I will have to buy a new mouse.

Yes, your mouse has a speech impediment .. stuttering. Teach it to
sing or give it a good clean.

Maybe the double click speed?
Go to control panels, mouse
And change the scroller
to point in the middle.
