When i was a kid, i remember seeing a movie on HBO circa late 80's
early 90's. I cannot for the life of me remember anything about the
title. I would really like to see if i can find a copy of it
somewhere. All i remember is, there was a ventriloquist puppet that a
boy got as a gift and ended up coming to life and started to do bad
things and torturing this boy. i also remember a scene in which the
evil forces at work made some of the boy's other toys (airplane) come
to life.

I just would like the title. any other info would be a bonus.

"This is an underrated German made supernatural fantasy fairy tale
that tells the story of a little boy named "Joey" ( Joshua Morrell)
who's dad recently died and now living with his mother. He still
mourns his death, but one night he suddenly gets strange telekinetic
powers that make his toys come to life including the ability to
communicate with his dead father over a childhood toy telephone. The
other kids at school make fun of him because they think he's making up
these stories, he also finds a ventriloquist dummy from a old house
that belonged to a famous magician, it turns out that it's possessed
by a evil being who treatens Joey into a world of a nightmare. Then
suddenly his community is attacked by evil forces, he and his friends
are the only one to stop the evil."

i'm not sure. it sounds like the closest thing ive seen yet. and i'm
guessing you didnt get it off of imdb
