The "Netflix model" (offering unlimited rentals through the mail for a
monthly fee) has spawned several imitators. Blockbuster & Wal-Mart
both offer copy cat services for movies. It has also been imitated in
other categories, such as audio books (www.simplyaudiobooks.com) and
video games (www.gamefly.com). Has anyone compiled a comprehensive
list of businesses utilizing the Netflix model?
