Hello,

I wrote an English vocabulary software for ESL students, I want to
have decent pronunciations of American accent for each word (about
9000 words), where can I find such service? Ideally, I provide a word
list, they deliver an audio file for each word, the audio quality
should be very good, something like those on m-w.com. I don't want any
text-to-speech generated voice.

Many thanks for your quick answer! My requirement might be quite
special, not like the common tasks, such as answering phone call,
reading an article, etc. It involves lots of words and the post
production may take time. This is a personal project and I'm more
concerned with an affordable service. Do you think if it's possible
that some education companies selling this kind of stuff or any
ready-to-use pronunciations (by paying license or royalty fee)?

Hi!

I listed some professional firms above since you mentioned in your
original question that you would want high-quality voice overs and
sound files. I doubt there is something ready made out there and you
really have to contract somebody to do this.

Anyway, you may want to contact these schools in this Google Directory
about Voice Overs.
