What kind of Patch antenna? are you talking about those little antennas you stick on your cellphone battery? |

Well basically any patch antenna. But the ones I'm currently looking into are 2.4GHz patch antennas. |

Scratches on a patch antenna, Are they scratches on the copper itself, this shoulddn't affect the operation at all unless they actually go all the way through the copper trace. even then they will only have a big effect if they are large and against the resonant current direction. If they are on the dielectric, protective covering, ground plane, or are superficial in any way, the largest effect is a less apealing look. Should not affec the radiating properties of the antenna in the least |
