I am a R.N. I need to know where in California there are Hospital or
Medical Centers that offer housing (i.e. nurses' residences on
premises) for their nursing employees? Most interested in northern
and central CA & S.F. Bay area -- although all locations appreciated.

Would be for a full-time R.N. not a traveling nurse.

It appears that university-affiliated hospitals and medical centers
might be your best bet. The UC System has issued a report on the
housing problem, and particularly commended UC Santa Cruz (Bay Area)
for its approach:

Other than that, these websites look promising, but they appear to be
belied by the information in the Staff Housing Report, above:

http://hr.ucsfmedicalcenter.org/employeetoolkit/housing.HTM
http://gup.stanford.edu/housing/

Does this cover what you had in mind?

This is not exactly it as I would not be a university student or
faculty staff. Do not want to buy or rent a house or separate
apartment. Looking for single residence (studio, private room) on
hospital premises or nearby that is offered as job compensation or
reasonable monthly rent. Used to be nurses' residences/halls for
hospital employees and nursing students...
