Hello michellek1234-ga,

My estimate is that there are hundreds, if not thousands, of job
posting sites and millions of resumes posted on them each year. Since
these sites come and go I think your question is unanswerable. Are you
looking only for major sites like Monster or Yahoo!? Are you looking
for information about recruiting or about job search? The question
about how many resumes are posted is tricky because some people post
multiple resumes on multiple sites. The job posting sites also have
lots of obsolete resumes for people who have found jobs or have
abandoned the job search.

As you can see, your question can be interpreted in many ways. You may
want to rephrase it so a researcher can find something that is
measurable with a reasonable amount of effort. As a first time poster
on Google Answers it might also be helpful to review these links so
that you can have the best possible Google Answers experience.

Good luck.

I know its a difficult question to find an actual number for but
basically I need to know how many websites there are that you can post
your resume or look for a job on in the US. Preferably websites that
are not directly on a companies website. If possible Id also need to
know how many resumes are posted on these sites total. Is it feasible
to find out these answers at least for the major websites like
monster, hotjobs etc?
