I would like to know countries where the U.S. dollar's buying power is
higher today than it was ten years ago. More directly put, where
would a US dollar today buy more local currency than it did ten years
ago.

Hi,
I am not sure what you want to know.

"Where in the world is the U.S. dollar the most valuable?"
This would be a list of the ten countries where at present the US
dollar price for goods and services is lowest, that is, $100 exchanged
into those countries' currencies would buy the most.

"I would like a list of the top ten countries where the US dollar has the most
historical buying power when compared to the last 10 years."

This seems to be asking about a comparision of US dollar buying power
over a period of ten years, that is, the countries in which the $
buying power has been  consistantly highest during the last ten years;
or maybe countries in which its buying power has increased when
compared with that ten years ago.

Can you explains?

myoarin,
Thank you for your comment. I am sorry for not phrasing the question
more coherently. I would like to know countries where the dollar's
buying power has increased when compared with its' buying power ten
years ago.

Thank you!

The US dollar is at a more than ten-year low; not since the Ford
administration has it be so debased. The only reason the dollar has
not collapsed (under Dubya's tax cuts, guns, and butter policy) is
that Japan and China both know their fragile economies would collapse
unless they support the dollar.

The United States still represents a bit more than one-quarter of the
gross world product. When our economy catches cold, much of the world
still catches pneumonia.

Some economists would state we are effectively taxing the Chinese,
Japanese, et al., to support our hideously expensive ventures in
Afganistan and Iraq.
