A quarter is a three-month period. Trimester is another name for that. What is the name for a four-month period? | |

Quadmester has been used, but then, so has tetramester (arrrgh)! |

Good question. The calendar year is just not supposed to be divided in thirds; it is unnatural; bad for your health to even think about it; if we were meant to, we would have a word for it. ;-) |
