I am having some "professional" stucco guys doing work for me as a side job on the weekends. Last weekend they put up the scratch coat. This Sat. they were going to put up the brown coat and the finish coat on the same day. I have inspected their materials and work which appear to be consistent with my research on stucco. However, I cannot seem to find the answer a question. Is it proper for them to be putting up the brown and finish coats up in the same day. They are using a LaHabra base 100 as the finish coat and a typical plastic cement brown coast. I live in Santa Monica, CA where the weather on Sat. should be about 70 degrees with an unpredictable fog/overcast condition (hence, a little humidity?) I do need an answer by 6pm today as that is when I am going to talk to the "professionals." |
