Hello a classmate of mine from High School told me years ago that his
college admission essay to Princeton was included in a book that was
published. I am now trying to find the book and his essay.

I graduated from High School in 1987 and I remember him telling me
about the book in 1988. I imagine it was published between 1988-1993.
I dont have any idea who the publisher was or what the title was.

The book was apparently a collection of good college essays for
students who were accepted at various schools.

If it helps any my friend's essay was titled "Bald Like Me".

Just to clarify, the book I mentioned in my answer, published in 2002,
is the second edition to original book, 100 Successful College
Application Essays by Christopher J. Georges, Gigi E. Georges, found
at:

The publisher for the first edition was Publisher: Signet Book
(published August 1, 1991)and Terence Kelly is found in the first
edition as well.

I suspect this was a vanity publication, i.e., one pays to be printed.
This is one of the items the Library of Congress tends not to acquire.
I bet his mother paid.

Well actually it was published by a real publisher. I remember him
showing me the book a few years after it was published.

It was definitely not a vanity type publication -- since other essays
were in the book from students accepted at other colleges.
