A quadrilateral has sides A, B, C, and D with the following measurements: A=4?, B=8?, C=15? and D=15.75?, with sides A and B being parallel. A line segment X is drawn from side D to side C which is perpendicular to side D and divides side D into 2 segments measuring 10.375? and 5.375?. What is the length of segment X?

Hello emcheck5, the length you are looking for is 5.54 inches. Too bad I can't show you the layout. CAD made a fairly nasty problem very easy. Redhoss
