Find a plumber's Blog (or LiveJournal, or whatever-- provided that it's an online journal). It must be the Blog of a professional plumber, and this individual must devote a decent portion of his/her journal to discussing his job-- and it must be current, and it must be updated fairly often. This should be a fairly simple task. Find it-- and then tell me how you found it...

Hello griffith933-ga, I?m glad you thought the site I found was interesting. Thank you for accepting it as the answer. http://www.poopreport.com/Office/Content/assistant.html The Assistant Plumber's Life I did some more searching and came up with a couple of other blogs that might add to your quest for real life plumber stories. http://www.drainwash.com/main.html http://www.drainwash.com/plumberbehind.html Drainwash Anyway, I am a plumber, if you haven't already guessed. http://www.suburbanbliss.net/suburbanbliss/2005/01/things_the_plum.html Things the plumber said and I didn't like. http://lifeislarge.blogspot.com/2005/05/plumber-butt-secret-revealed-so-to.html Plumber Butt: the secret revealed (so to speak) http://soundmoney.publicradio.org/display/web/2004/09/04/ditwl_plumber/ "Day in the Work Life": Plumber Listen to this story Labor Day became a national holiday in 1894, celebrating the working class. In that spirit, on today's 'Day In the Work Life' -- our weekly look at how folks trade their time for money -- we put on our hard hats and solder some pipes alongside an apprentice plumber. One of the problems in trying to get information about a plumber?s life from blogs is that plumbers are not very likely to be expressing themselves this way. You?ll have much better luck looking for blogs from people in more verbal professions. Another problem of looking for a ?typical? plumber is that they can work in greatly varied situations and the type of person attracted to one will probably not be attracted to another. The life of a plumber in business for himself (and it?s still mostly men) doing residential repairs is likely to be very different from a plumber working for a contractor doing new construction or a plumber working for a city high rise or a plumber in an industrial plant. The challenges faced by each would be different so the setting really matters for understanding what a plumber?s life is about. I hope these links helped. I look forward to your future questions. ~ czh ~

Thank you; that was excellent! It's not much, but I've thrown in a small tip. |
