I am trying to find out, for a given country and a given year, how
many people living outside that country saw movies produced by that
country. For example, in 2003, how many people living outside the US
saw movies that were produced by the US? How many people living
outside of India saw movies that were produced in India? Etc.
Details:
1) As films are often produced by multiple countries, I'm fine with
any reasonable way to assign those films to one country, as long as it
is consistent across the data.
2) $ (box office) amounts could possibly be acceptable, as long as
they are accompanied by some sense of an average ticket price from
those amounts as well (perhaps even a global average ticket price,
depending on how wide the variation is).
3) I only really need the data from any one recent year (say, in the
last 10 years), but multiple years would obviously be great. It would
also be ok to have data for different countries come from different
years, as long as the years aren't that far apart.
4) My first preference would be to have this data from (virtually)
every country. However, at a minimum, I would need it from the
following countries in order for it to be useful to me: United States,
United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Mexico, Brazil, Egypt,
South Africa, India, China, and Japan.

Thanks so much, and let me know if I can clarify anything.
