We're looking into buying large amounts of some self published book
titles (1000 to start). What we need to know is what are the industry
averages for discounts on buying books and DVD's in quantity. We
currently spend about $2,000 with this company and get a 50% discount.
I had assumed that spending $15,000 or more would result in a larger
discount, but it's not been offered. We need some facts on standard
industry discounts to back up our negotiations. Figures presented
should be backed up with some kind of references so we know they're
real.
