According to the Mad Scientist website, "Some types of seedless fruit,
such as persimmon, seedless cucumber, and
pineapple are not always seedless so can reproduce by seed."

Basically I guess not all that are produced are seedless. Some lucky
or unlucky ones get seeds still.

'Seedless' is relative. A seedless watermelon indeed has seeds, but
these are unobjectionable in that you can digest them with no
problems. Seedless cucumbers are touted to be 'burp-less', but
cucumbers have never made me burp.

The seeds in these fruits are immature at the time of picking. If you
let them grow some more, they would develop some real seeds.
Sometimes, these seeds will not sprout, because of some botanical
for-profit magic.

hi, I am a MS.c Plant Breeder and Genetic Eng., we produce the
seedless fruits to make them unusable for farmers for regeneration and
, and force them to buy the fruits from us each time they decide to
plant a new garden or field. and make the fruits easier for eating by
several methods same as changing the chromosome numbers and make them
uncompatible and...
actually, the seed consist of several part. when we make a seedless
fruit, we cut the foetus (emberyo) generation but other parts same as
endosperms and seed coat which extended from inner part of fruits, not
the sexual part, will generate, so even after seedless fruit maturity,
no vital seed will creat. but the skeleton of seed will form from
ovary and ... tissues.
so you see some thing like the seed but it is dead indeed.
regards.
