I work at a small company that deals with very sensitive information and trade secrets. We would like a way to track and log all aol aim conversations. We are using xp professional. How would be a good way to accomplish this? The number of people on AIM is 9? We don't want software that is installed on each client. Rather something that is able to track all network information from a single computer. We are even considering something which tracks all internet usage by computer. This seems to be asking a bit much. Thanks. |

The concrete solution for your problem depends on your network structure. If you have already a router, you would only need to install a sniffer on this router and filter out the traffic on port 5190. Another solution could be a proxy. |

There are some more products at http://www.spytech-web.com/. Also, I haven't used it a heck of a lot, but Ethereal is a free network protocol analyzer (http://www.ethereal.com/). |
