What is the current average life expectancy for those living
with HIV/AIDS (according to offical data such as provided by the CDC
for example)? To clarify, what is the average time span from time of
initial viral contact to time of onset of full AIDS, and average time
span from full onset of AIDS to death (with special emphasis on the
latter)? Please provide references to official sources. As it might be
useful in narrowing the data, I am interested in those infected
through male/male sexual contact and in the data for the 20 to 30 year
old age range. I want the data to include the variable of the amount
of time from infection to beginning medical care of any kind (i.e.
those who immediately get medical help vs. waiting years). I also want
the data in include the variable of infection with multiple strains of
the virus.

The last two variables may have to be optional since the data may not
be available or hard to obtain. I would also be interested in how the
data is effected by co-infection with other viruses such as Hepitis.
