I need a Lexis Nexis search or search of a specific newspaper that
goes back to the 1980's.

The low $$ for this question is because I don't know if Lexis Nexis
has this paper, or if they have it searchable back in the time period
I'm looking for.

Subject Paper: "Johnson County Sun" aka "Overland Park Sun" owned by
Sun Publications of Overland Park, Kansas. Now on the web at

Subject Topic: any opinion or editorial articles about the Reagan
Administration's deregulation of the FCC. Other key words to consider:
Repeal of Fairness Doctrine, media deregulation, cable deregulation. 

Author: Steve Rose, Stan Rose, or anyone else. 

I'm specifically looking for any opinion stated mainly by Steve Rose,
(but in general from anyone at his paper) about his view on the media
deregulation that happened in the 1980?s, pro or con. I believe both
of the Rose's have also contributed work to the Kansas City Star. So
you might want to also search the Star if you come up dry.

I will tip $10 if provided with copy of all relevant articles, please
site any relevant sources, pages and dates if possible.

Just a few other strategies in case the Lexus/Nexus search doesn't pan out.  

You can locate back issues in a library.  Johnson County Library has
issues back to 1973:

Of course there may not be an index to the issues.  If you are not
located in Kansas, rolls of microfilm can usually be requested to be
sent to your home library through interlibrary loan.
